Oskar lernt Englisch is a children’s language school in Berlin.

We are looking for people to join our team as camp directors and work in our English language camps in the school holidays.

Since 2004, Oskars has been running English language camps throughout Germany for children between the ages of 6 to 15. We are always looking for energetic, organized, motivated individuals to lead our camp teams. Our camps fuse English learning in structured lessons and informal settings, with an emphasis on fun. Camp activities include crafts, sports, film-making, music, surfing, sailing, horseback riding, and more! Overnight camps also offer an evening program, including discos, karaoke, campfires, talent shows, and games.

Seasonal work (in school holidays)
Camps throughout Germany
Day camps in Berlin
Budget management
Liaising with camp location
Record keeping
Supervision and care of children
Planning camp schedule
Team leadership and management
Communicating with parents

Your profile

Fluent English
Fluent German
EU citizen or work permit for Germany
Experience working with children
Teaching experience and/or
Experience running sport programmes, outdoor education, creative arts
Available for at least 3 weeks per year
